“If I were not a physicist, I would probably be a musician. I often think in music. I live my daydreams in music. I see my life in terms of music.” ― Albert Einstein

Welcome
About Me
I study Drumset Performance at the University of Colorado Denver, and have taught theater, music and dance since I was in high school. I am a songwriter and composer as well, and play a variety of instruments including piano, ukelele, violin, and many hand drums and auxilary percussion instruments. You will learn from me, foundations of music theory and your given instrument, with an emphasis on the jazz style and improvisation. I will teach composition techniques on your chosen instrument, and prepare you for contemporary music settings. I have also had a long history with acting, vocal, and some dance coaching in musical theatre camps throughout my life, including the Golden Ticket Theatre company and Pied Piper Players theatre troupe. Teaching drums is my main focus, but in any subject, I will teach you with a flexible curriculum that will suit your needs.
I have studied with prolific drummers Todd Reid, Allison Miller, and Ari Hoenig as well as Bridget Law, Megan Burt, Pete Ellingson, and Peter Stoltzman. I am currently studying a music performance degree.
